The database includes basic attributes describing mineral deposits (exploitation and exploration spaces) for which the state has granted concession.
Database of mineral resources in Romania for Minerals4EU contains basic information on mineral occurences from the Geological Institute of Romania data base. Mining, exploring, resources/reserves and production statistics is not included in this version. Database is in incipient phase of completion, it will be completed with relevant inforation in next time. The information is harmonized according to specifications in the Minerals4EU project.
ZESIS is a database of seismogenic zones of the Iberian Peninsula and territories of influence developed for the calculation of the update of the seismic hazard map of Spain (IGN-UPM, 2013). ZESIS is the result of the evolution of three successive models in which numerous researchers from national and international research centres have collaborated, and of the synergy of the FASEGEO (CGL2009-09726), SHARE (FP7-226967), IBERFAULT (CGL2009-07388), OPPEL (IGN-UPM) and SISMOGEN (IGME-CSIC) projects
DC resistivity [Ohmm] from Vertical Electric Soundings in the Kisalföld area at NW Hungary. It represents an interval resistivity determined by geophysical inversion for the 7 - 15 m depth range. Dataset is available through simple feature WMS, INSPIRE predefined download servic and direct GML MultiSurfaceCoverage download. For service links see transfer options.
Decision support map for the use of shallow geothermal energy
Information about the deep geological setting in Denmark originates largely from hydrocarbon exploration activities with seismic profiles and wells covering most of the country, however with an uneven distribution (Vosgerau et al. 2016). The interpretation of these data provides information on the regional structural setting and spatial distribution of sedimentary units. The derived subsurface 3D structural (and geological) model with main lithological units includes information on potential geothermal res...
The dataset contains feature and observation metadata of regional deep seismic lines crossing the territory of Hungary. Seismic surveys were carried out during the CELEBRATION 2000 and Pannonian Geotraverse 1992-1995 projects. publications: Marek Grad, Aleksander Guterch, G. Randy Keller, Tomasz Janik, Endre Hegedűs, Jozef Vozár, Andrzej Slaczka, Timo Tiira, Jukka Yliniemi, 2006: Lithospheric structure beneath trans-Carpathian transect from Precambrian platform to Pannonian basin:CELEBRATION 2000 seismic p...
Polyline defining the margin of a former delta. A delta is formed by deposition of sediment transported via river as it enters slower-moving / stagnant body of water such as a marine environment, lake or estuary. Chronological information is presented as calendar age BP. Confidence is defined as follows: 1. High: Sampled feature with good age and palaeoenvironmental control. 2. Sampled feature with poor or none age and palaeoenvironmental control. 3. Constructed by remote sensing data only. 4. Low: Reasona...
Delta Relict delta landform formed by deposition of sediment transported via river as it enters slower-moving / stagnant body of water such as a marine environment, lake or estuary. Chronological information is presented as calendar age BP. Confidence is defined as follows: 1. High: Sampled feature with good age and palaeoenvironmental control. 2. Sampled feature with poor or none age and palaeoenvironmental control. 3. Constructed by remote sensing data only. 4. Low: Reasonable without any direct evidence
