The map is based on the information provided by the regulatory agency and the 3D geological models prepared for the pilot area Upper Austria - Upper Bavaria as one of overall 6 areas of focus within the framework of the INTERREG IV project GeoMol. Geological Survey Organisations in charge for storage and management of the baseline data as well as data processing and model building are for Upper Austria the Geological Survey of Austria (GBA) and for Upper Bavaria the Bavarian Environment Agency (LfU) – Geological Survey. Access to the baseline data is subject to the statutory provisions of the respective countries.
