Geophysical and geochemical measurements

The results of state-funded geophysical surveys conducted by Geofyzika, state-owned enterprise began to be incorporated into geophysical databases by Geofyzika in 1972. After the dissolution of Geofyzika Inc. Brno, a part of its geophysical department was incorporated into CGS-Geofond on 1 September 2003 as a separate geophysical data department, and all of the geophysical databases, including the Geophysical Surveys Database, were integrated into CGS Information System. The Geochemical Database was developed as part of the "Unified Geochemical Database" project carried out in 1996-2004, in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of the Environment.
