Location accuracy: locations digitized from 1:25 000 to 1:5 000 (and some 1:50 000) scale maps
Since then, data from 145 reports on geophysical surveys have been stored in the database. These surveys began to be carried out in the Czech Republic in 1957. The projects were mostly of regional scale, though important projects of local scale were carried out in connection with oil exploration, hydrogeological and engineering geology projects, mineral exploration, and investigations of structural geology problems. The largest amounts of data come from major sedimentary regions of the Carpathian Foredeep, Hornomoravský and Dolnomoravský Úval valleys, and the Moravian part of the Vienna Basin. Data from other regions of the Czech Republic are also included.
