MIN4EU DB Mining Waste - consists of mining waste data. This inventory covers mining wastes deposits (also called anthropogenic mineral occurrences) in Europe (onshore). This data presents general information, location of deposits, waste type and quantitative data (volume, tonnages, areas and ore grades). Given the dynamic nature of such data, regular updates of comprehensive, reliable and harmonized information across borders are required, as there are several sources of non-harmonized data with different coverages developed over the last decades by national and international projects for different purposes. Data have been prepared and collected in the projects ProMine, Minerals4EU, ProSUM, ORAMA, RESEERVE, MINTELL4EU, GSEU and FutuRaM and others and are shared in the European Geological Data Infrastructure (EGDI) and Urban Mine Platform. The following countries: Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Cyprus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo.

Urban Mine Platform
- The extensive data provided on the Urban Mine Platform was compiled by the FutuRaM project and gives detailed insight into the availability and recoverability of secondary and critical raw materials contained in seven different waste streams in the EU plus Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, with projections along different scenarios to 2050. Click on the waste stream icons above to enter the platform and begin to access the vast knowledge it contains.
