Geophysical polygon data index
Geophysics that are shown as polygons. Sometimes the real position of geophysical lines cannot be shown because of confidentiality reasons and in this case a polygon that shows the approximate location is used instead. In other cases the geophysics is best represented by a polygon – for example for 3D seismic surveys.

Data Quality
Data are received from EMODnet members in many different formats (shapefile, geopackage, geodatabase, wfs) and merged into a postgresql table.
Constraints
The condition is only valid for the geophysical metadata shown on the EMODnet portal. The conditions for the real data held by the partners are probably different.
