This is the first parameter for the DRASTIC groundwater vulnerability assessment (Aller et al. 1987) applied at the HOVER WP7 pilot area Tønder (Denmark).

Data Quality
This geotiff is derived from simulated hydraulic head reflecting the actual groundwater abstraction volumes for 2012 from the MODFLOW2000/GroundwaterVistas6 model for the study area (Rasmussen and Sonnenborg, 2015). The units were converted from m above sea level to m below terrain and then reclassified into the D index using the HOVER D7-2 Appendix A1. The pilot area takes the values between 3 and 10.
