The PGI-NRI INSPIRE metadata discovery service provides an OGC CSW interface for PGI-NRI INSPIRE spatial data resources. The service publishes metadata of spatial data sets and series as well as geoinformation services. The service and the portal acting as a client application allow for discovering and browsing PGI-NRI INSPIRE metadata.

The dataset represents the near-surface geologic units of Austria at a scale of 1:200,000. Currently, the dataset covers the federal states of Salzburg, Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Vienna, Burgenland, Styria, Vorarlberg, and parts of Tyrol.

The dataset represents the near-surface geologic units of Austria at a scale of 1:50,000.

The dataset represents the near-surface geologic units of Austria at a scale of 1:500,000.

This INSPIRE download service provides harmonized geologic units for Austria at a scale of 1:500,000 (surface geology) based on the simplification approach. Using an OGC API Features interface, data is delivered in simplified structures in GeoJSON and esriJSON formats to facilitate use in standard GIS applications.
