Gravel and Hard Rock Aggregate Database at NGU contains information on most sand, gravel and hard rock aggregate deposits and extraction places in Norway where the raw material are used for building and construction activities. In addition, the WMS/database gives an overview of stone tips. The database also provides information on land use, volume, operating conditions, manufacturers, quality and how important resources are as raw material to building engineering purposes

The Bouguer anomaly is defined as the difference between the gravity measured at a specific point on the Earth’s surface and a gravity value calculated at the same point assuming that the Earth’s crust is homogeneous. This map shows both the regional negative anomalies associated with the Alps and the positive anomaly of the Sesia–Finero zone that signifies an excess of mass at depth.

Gravimetric map (J. Sedlák, Geofyzika, a.s., 1998) was published in Atlas of maps of the Czech Republic GEOČR500 in 1998 by CGS. It contains a raster image of gravimetric field. Map was created on the basis of measurements of 283 718 detailed points of gravity.

This database (SDE) contains data from a gravity survey of the entire Czech Republic at the scale of 1:200,000 from the period 1957-1960 (100% of the territory – ca 23 thousand gravity points). Since 1960, the systematic gravity survey at the scale of 1:25,000 has started and covers nearly 70 % of the Czech Republic area. At the end of 2018 the database contains 3,992 gravity points from the old mapping at the scale 1:200,000 and 304,199 points from the detailed mapping 1:25,000; this new data replaces the...

This dataset consists of gridded estimates of travel times for nitrate in the unsaturated zone for Great Britain (UK), France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Croatia and Slovenia. Data for Croatia and Slovenia are presented from a regional scale pilot study, with data from the remaining countries at the national scale. The dataset was developed in Work Package 5 of the GeoERA Groundwater project HOVER.

Gridded model estimates of nitrate-N stored in the vadose (unsaturated) zone. This dataset presents annual gridded estimates of nitrate stored in the vadose zone for 1900 - 2000 on a 0.5 degree grid (units: kg N/grid cell). Data are supplied as a single netCDF for all years. This data was derived by Ascott et al. (2017). Global models of depth to groundwater table, subsurface porosity and groundwater recharge were used to derive estimates of nitrate travel time in the vadose zone. The travel time was combi...

Outline of a distinct volume of groundwater within an aquifer or system of aquifers, which is hydraulically isolated from nearby groundwater bodies and provides enough yield with suitable temperatures for open-loop systems (groundwater heat exchangers) with and/or without thermal storage.
