A WMS service provides the access to basic information on mineral deposits and prognosticated resources in the territory of the Czech Republic, protected areas of mineral deposits, protected territories for special intervention into the Earth’s crust, exploration areas and mining leases.
Structural geological model has been created for the purposes of the deep storage of the radioactive waste in the MOVE software and with the use of archival borehole data, archival and new geological maps and archival and new geophysical measurements.
Example Map Application Pre-Quarternary Map.
A WMS service provides the access to basic information on mineral deposits and prognosticated resources in the territory of the Czech Republic, protected areas of mineral deposits, protected territories for special intervention into the Earth’s crust, exploration areas and mining leases.
This database contains information on reserved and non-reserved mineral deposits, prognosticated mineral resources, exhausted and abandoned deposits and resources, non-prospective areas, negative results of exploration, and geographic location of mineral resources.
Location of the existing and planned deep geothermal installations (updated in April 2023) in North-West Europe including District heating and Electricity plants.
The database contains information on approvals of exploration for reserved minerals. This includes the information on the spatial delimitation of the exploration area, on the mineral for which the exploration was approved, on the validity of this approval and on the organization. Also listed as “Registry of Exploration Areas”.
Extend of the study area DGE-ROLLOUT, Upper Rhine Graben
The facies map represents the main sedimentary environment deposit of the Dinantian (Lower Carboniferous) in NWE. It was compiled after the palaeogeographic maps of Van Hulten (2012) https://popups.uliege.be/1374-8505/index.php?id=3778), Smit et al. (2018) https://doi.org/10.1016/j.marpetgeo.2018.01.004), and Arndt et al. (2020) https://www.gd.nrw.de/zip/scriptumonline-16_2020-09.pdf.
Zones, where rocks have been broken and displaced. Faults, which may cause geotechnical problems while drilling or problems with cementation for closed loop systems.
