Locations of coasts affected by tsunamis of unknown origin, mapped by various national and regional mapping projects and recovered in the literature. In order to allow representation of different events, affected coasts are represented by points located in an average position for each event. Note: blank areas do not necessarily correspond to no occurrence.
Locations of events which originated tsunamis, mapped by various national and regional mapping projects and recovered in the literature. Wherever possible, connected events reported in other EMODnet Geology layers are indicated in the Attribute table. Note: blank areas do not necessarily correspond to no occurrence.
Iso-content maps of Tungsten (W), one of the chemical elements.obtained in the Geochemical Atlas of Spain Project, distributed in stream sediments (14,864 samples), superficial soils (0-20 cm.) (13,505 samples) and deeper soils (20-40 cm.) (7,682 samples). The results of the chemical analysis are shown in two types: total dissolution of the sample with 4 acids and partial dissolution with aqua regia. With the analytical results of all the sampled points, an isocontent map is made with adjustment to a squar...

A dataset showing the locations of the boreholes where LTA recharge values are calculated together with percentile values to address uncertainty. Clicking a borehole will lead to a figure showing the LTA values (mm/year) and the corresponding percentile values. Values are best used for guidance only.

This dataset describes the gas resources in shales and other tight reservoirs in the North Sea area. The hydrocarbon content is estimated using Monte Carlo simulations. The estimates of adsorped gas, free gas and GIIP (Gas Initially In Place) are shown for the percentiles P10, P50 and P90. At P90, 90% of the calculated estimates will be equal or exceed the shown figure. At P10, it is only 10% of the calculated estimates that exceed the shown value. A more detailed description of the data is found in the re...

This dataset describes the oil resources in shales and other tight reservoirs in the North Sea area. The hydrocarbon content is estimated using Monte Carlo simulations. The estimates of free oil in 106 m3 or in 106 barrels are shown for the percentiles P10, P50 and P90. At P90, 90% of the calculated estimates will be equal or exceed the shown figure. At P10, it is only 10% of the calculated estimates that exceed the shown value. A more detailed description of the data is found in the report, GARAH Delivera...

The 3D structural-geological model of the Dukovany WRW represents a unified visualization of rock bodies and fragile structures based on the processing of all available relevant archival data from the modelled area. The model provides a geometric framework for downstream hydraulic numerical simulations and is also an important basis for the site assessment in terms of long-term safety.
