The Superficial Deposits of Norway (best of) is a database giving full coverage of the superficial deposits throughout Norway. High resolution data at scales of 1:20 000 to 1:50 000 exists for only about 30% of the country, mostly in areas where superficial deposits are of significant economic importance. The deposits are classified according to their genesis and thickness. For most of the data collated at a scale greater than 1:250 000 derived information such as groundwater potential and infiltration ...

Iso-content maps of Nickel (Ni), one of the chemical elements.obtained in the Geochemical Atlas of Spain Project, distributed in stream sediments (14,864 samples), superficial soils (0-20 cm.) (13,505 samples) and deeper soils (20-40 cm.) (7,682 samples). The results of the chemical analysis are shown in two types: total dissolution of the sample with 4 acids and partial dissolution with aqua regia. With the analytical results of all the sampled points, an isocontent map is made with adjustment to a square...

This layer is a decision support map. Based on harmonized NLS3D model. Gaps following directly the national border may show areas, where a harmonization was not feasible.

This layer considers the nature and thickness of soils, subsoils, unsaturated zone confinement. The lowest values correspond to areas of karst aquifer with no overlying subsoil and the water table is at or near the surface. The highest values are for non karst rocks overlain by thick impermeable subsoils with a deep water table. The biggest influencing factor here was the presence and thickness of clay subsoil

O map in Slovenia represents one layer of vulnerability map COP in Slovenia that has been applied on the area covered by karstic rocks. The map is constituated from soil type classification, soil thickness, lithology and fracturation index and thickness of unsaturated zones. Vulnerability classes are: 1 Very High, 2 High, 2-4 Moderate, 4-8 Low, 8-15 Very low.
