The digital geological map of Greece at 1:1million scale is composed of layers of polygonal objects depicting stratigraphic units and lines depicting faults. It has been created - in the frame of the One Geology Europe Plus project - from the 1:50 000 scale map sheets, using the One Geology Europe vocabulary terms to describe lithology & age of formations.

1: 1,000,000 scale geological map was constructed from surface geology maps of Hungary of scale 1 : 200 000. It contains 31 different geological units of generalized pre-quaternary geological formations and quaternary sediments of different genetic types .

The database of the 1:1.000.000 scale Geological Map of Italy, named GEO1MDB, is structured into 4 geometric layers and 3 descriptive tables. The layers are: Geologic Units, Tectonics Units, Geologic Structures and Regional Structures.

The geological map of pre-Quaternary deposits, at 1:500 000 scale, covers the national terrestrial area, the Gulf of Riga and the Baltic Sea within Latvia’s territorial waters. Geološka karta Slovenije v merilu 1: 250.000 je nastala na podlagi podatkov Osnovne geološke karte 1: 100.000. Izdelava je trajala več kot 20 let. Zaradi neskladja med posameznimi listi je bilo potrebno opraviti temeljito terensko reambulacijo.
