Abstract:

Datasettet inneholder tema jordarter og viser løsmassefordelingen for hele Norge. Målestokk er 1:1 million. Som grunnlag er benyttet alle tilgjengelige kvartærgeologiske kart i mer detaljerte målestokker, og i øvrige områder ble det utført flyfototolkning med feltkontroll langs hovedveiene. I oppdatert versjon 3 (2013) er flatetema jordarter behold uforandret fra første utgivelse i 1990, mens linjetemaene randmorener og eskere er supplert og ajourført ved gjennomgang av nyere kart og flybilder (www.norgeibilder.no / www.norgei3D.no).
