Abstract:
Karta prikazuje sedimente blizu površine (ili morskog dna) , do dubine oko 5m. Karta se temelji na postojecoj karti bivšeg Rijks Geologische Dienst, i gdje je potrebno upotpunjena je sa neobjavljenim podacima. Sedimenti su klasificirani prema novoj litostratigrafskoj legendi koju koristi TNO od 1997. Klasifikacija se zasniva na litološkim i seizmološkim podacima te stratigrafskom položaju i porijeklu. Starost sedimenata nije uvrštena u klasifikaciju.
