Abstract:

El mapa geológico armonizado de Eslovenia es una versión simplificada del Mapa Geológico de Eslovenia a escala 1:250.000 (Buser, 2009), que fue elaborado a partir del Mapa Geológico básico de Eslovenia a escala 1:100.000 (varios autores, realizado entre las décadas de 1960 y 1980) y de la nueva cartografía de Buser. El elemento fundamental del mapa es la litoestratigrafía. El mapa presenta dos capas de información: unidades litoestratigráficas y fallas principales. Estas fallas se selccionaron mediant dos criterios: extensión regional e importancia tectónica. El mapa que se presenta aquí se ha editado específicamente para el proyecto OneGeology-Europe por M. Bavec, M. Novak, M. Poljak, M. Trajanova D. Skaberne.
