Abstract:

Denna karta visar sediment nära markytan (eller havsbotten), ned till ett djup på ca 5 meter.Kartan baseras på existerande kartor från det tidigare Rijks Geologische Dienst, och där nödvändigt kompletterad med opublicerade data. Sedimenten är klassificerade enligt den nya litostratigrafiska legend som används av TNO edan 1997. Klassificeringen baseras på litologiska och seismologiska egenskaper, samt stratigrafisk position och ursprung. Sedimentets ålder ingår inte i klassificeringen.
