Abstract:

Aceasta harta arata sedimentele aproape de suprafata (sau fundul mării), până la o adâncime de aproximativ 5 metri. Această hartă se bazează pe hărțile existente ale fostului Rijks Geologische Dienst și, dacă este necesar, completate cu date nepublicate. Sedimentele sunt clasificate în funcție de noua legenda litostratigrafică folosite de către TNO din 1997. Această clasificare se bazează pe proprietăți litologice și seismologice, și pe poziția stratigrafică și de origine. Vârsta a sedimentelor nu este luat în considerare în această clasificare.
