Abstract:

Dette kartet viser sedimentene nær overflaten (eller havbunnen), opp til en dybde på ca 5 meter. Dette kartet er basert på eksisterende kart over det tidligere Rijks Geologische Dienst, og der det var nødvendig beriket med upubliserte data. Sedimentene er klassifisert i henhold til den nye litostratigrafiske tegnforklaringen som er brukt av TNO siden 1997. Denne klassifiseringen er basert på litologiske og seismiske egenskaper, og stratigrafisk posisjon og opprinnelse. Alderen på sedimentene er ikke tatt hensyn til i denne klassifiseringen.
