Abstract:

Cette carte montre les sédiments proche de la surface (ou du fond marin), jusqu'à une profondeur d'environ 5 m. Cette carte est basée sur les cartes existantes de la précédente "Rijks Geologische Dienst", et si nécessaire enrichies de données non publiées. Les sédiments sont classés selon la nouvelle légende lithostratigraphique utilisée par TNO depuis 1997. Cette classification est basée sur les propriétés lithologiques et sismiques, sur la position stratigrafique et l'origine. L'âge des sédiments n'est pas pris en compte dans cette classification.
