Abstract:
NGU Overflategeologi - OneGeology-Europe WP3. Målestokk 1:1 million. Denne tjenesten viser overflategeologi, strukturer og berggrunn definert av bergartstyper og deres aldre. Berggrunnsområdene er også inndelt i tektoniske enheter. Kartet er sammensatt av data som et resultat fra flere kartlegginger, utført over flere tiår, sammenstilt og arkivert i digitalt format, publisert eller tilrettelagt i manuskriptformat og klargjort for publisering mellom 1989 og 2001. På grunn av variasjonen i kvalitet og målestokker fra ulike kartlegginger, varierer nøyaktigheten i den underliggende nasjonale databasen. Databasen er tilrettelagt for presentasjon i M 1:1 million.
