Abstract:
Zusammenstellung des Quartärs der marinen Geologie Europas (deutscher Ausschnitt). Projektpartner sind die nationalen geologischen Dienste der beteiligten Länder. Die Original-Karte enthält die verfügbaren Daten mit der jeweils höchsten Auflösung der Meeresgebiete der europäischen Projektpartner (nationale geologische Dienste der beteiligten Länder). Sowohl die räumliche Auflösung („multi-resolution“-Ansatz) als auch die Gebietsabdeckung variieren je nach Projektpartner und beruhen auf der Verfügbarkeit der Daten und dem aktuellen Kartierungsstand (Stand April 2019). Entsprechend der Datenspezifikation Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0) liegen die Inhalte der Karte (deutscher Ausschnitt) INSPIRE-konform vor. Der WMS EMODnet-DE Quaternary (INSPIRE) beinhaltet Layer mit den geologischen Einheiten (GE.GeologicUnit), die gemäß der INSPIRE-Darstellungsregeln abgebildet sind. Die geologischen Einheiten sind anhand der Stratigraphie (GE.GeologicUnit.AgeOfRocks) und der Petrographie (GE.GeologicUnit.Lithology) dargestellt. Bei der petrographischen Darstellung ist die Farbe des erstgenannten Gesteins ausschlaggebend. Mit Hilfe der getFeatureInfo-Anfrage erhält der User Detailinformationen zur Petrographie (lithology), Stratigraphie (age) und Genese (event environment, event process)
