Abstract:
Den geologiska kartan över shweiz i skala 1.500 000 täcker heöa Schweiz och angränsande områden i omgivande länder. Kartan visar på ett översiktligt sätt fördelningen av den ytligaste berggrunden. Kartan utgör därmed en viktig grund för en bättre förståelse av vår omgivning med avseende på hållbar utveckling. Den är ett viktigt verktyg inom utbildning inom miljö, geovetenskap och naturliga risker. jämfört med den tidigare versionen, som publicerades för 25 år sedan, redovisar den nya versionen en väsentligt mer detaljerad bild. Nya och reviderade geologiska data från de senaste decennierna har inkluderats i den nya versionen. Tack vare en reviderad layout är den detaljerade legenden nu lättare att läda och kartan därmed lättare att förstå.
