Abstract:

Геолошка карта Швајцарске обухвата шире подручје Швајцарске и пограничне делове суседних земаља. Карта приказује површинске наслаге Швајцарске. Стога је важно средство за побољшање разумевања нашег околиша у контексту одрживог развоја. Такође је битна за образовање у подручју заштите околиша и знаности као и за идентификацију и предвиђања природних непогода. Претходна верзија издања је пре више од 25 година и у односу на њу, нова карта је пуно детаљнија. Додавање нових подтака и ревизија старијих геолошких радова током последњих десетлећа, довели су до значајних побиљшања у новој верзији. Захваљујући измењеном изгледу, детаљнија легенда је сада лакша за интерпретацију и с тим и разумљивија.
