Abstract:

Geološka karta Švice merila 1:500.000 zajema celotno ozemlje Švice in sosednjih delov sosednjih držav. Predstavlja pregled razdelitve zgornjih plasti kamnin, ki se pojavljajo v Švici. Tako zagotavlja pomemben temelj in orodje za boljše razumevanje našega okolja v okviru trajnostnega razvoja. To je pomemben pripomoček pri izobraževanje na področju okolja in geologije, pa tudi naravnih nesreč. V primerjavi s prejšnjo izdajo izpred 25 let, nova različica kaže bistveno izboljšano raven podrobnosti. Novi in revidirani geološki podatki v zadnjih desetletjih so glavno bistvo nove izdaje. Zahvaljujoč novemu oblikovanju je podrobna legenda zdaj preglednejša in tako bolje razumljiva.
