Abstract:

Harta geologică a Elveției, la scara 1:500.000 acoperă toate Elveția și părți adiacente ale țărilor vecine. Acesta oferă o imagine de ansamblu a distribuției de formațiunilor geologice superficiale expuse în Elveția. Prin urmare, este un instrument important pentru o mai bună înțelegere a mediului în contextul dezvoltării durabile. Este, de asemenea, un ajutor esențial pentru educație în domeniul științelor mediului și pământ, precum și pentru identificarea si predictia hazardelor naturale. Ediția precedentă a apărut în urmă cu mai mult de 25 de ani, iar noua hartă prezintă un nivel îmbunătățit în mod semnificativ de detaliu.
