Abstract:
Sveitsin geologinen kartta 1:500,000 kattaa koko Sveitsin sekä osia naapurivaltioista. Se esittää yleiskatsauksen Sveitsin näkyvillä olevien kivilajien jakaumasta ja helpottaa siten ymmärrystä alueesta kestävän kehityksen kannalta. Se on tärkeä väline ympäristön, geotieteiden ja luonnonhasardien opettamiseen. Edelliseen versioon verrattuna, joka on yli 25 vuotta vanha, uusi versio on huomattavasti tarkempi. Uusi ja tarkistettu aineisto on lisätty ja uudistettu selite on helppolukuisempi.
