Abstract:

Det geologiske kort over Schweiz 1:500.000 dækker hele Schweiz og tilstødende dele af nabolandene. Den giver en oversigt over fordelingen af de øverste bjergartslag, der forekommer i Schweiz. Det giver således et vigtigt fundament og redskab til bedre forståelse af vores miljø i anvendelsesområdet for en bæredygtig udvikling. Det er en væsentlig støtte til uddannelse inden for miljø-og geovidenskaber samt naturkatastrofer. Sammenlignet med den foregående udgave, der udkom mere end 25 år siden, indeholder den nye version en væsentligt forbedret detaljeringsgrad. De nye og reviderede geologiske data fra de seneste årtier har sat deres præg på den nye udgave. Takket være et revideret layout, er den detaljerede legende nu nemmere at læse og dermed nemmere at forstå.
