Abstract:

Jordartskort 1:200.000, version 2. Tolket oversigtskort over den overfladenære geologi i Danmark. Kortet viser en landsdækkende klassificering og udbredelse af jordarter (fortrinsvis glaciale og postglaciale sedimenter) i landoverfladen af Danmark. Jordarterne er inddelt i 12 forskellige typer. Kortet er i målestoksforholdet 1:200.000, og er egnet til undervisningsbrug og som baggrund for andre korttemaer. Kortet er udgivet i GEUS rapport 2011/19.

Kortet er produceret udfra tolkede og rentegnede karteringskort. I de områder hvor der ikke er foretaget kartering endnu, benyttes boredata fra GEUS' borearkiv, fotogeologiske tolkning og geologisk litteratur. I øvrigt er der udført en geologisk kompilation, som udgør grundlaget for denne landsdækkende kortlægning af jordartsforholdene i cirka 1 m's dybde.
