The Central Geological Database (Centralna Baza Danych Geologicznych – CBDG) is the largest Polish collection of digital geological data, such as detailed information on boreholes, archival geological reports and various types of geophysical research.

Data Quality

The Central Geological Data Base is the largest collection of digital data related to earth sciences in Poland. The task of CBDG is to collect and share various types of information in the field of geology and related sciences. The main objective is to support the activities of the geological administration, the Ministry of the Environment, the geological survey(Polish Geological Institute), the universities and other scientific centers, enterprises and geological companies.
