CPT download (polygons)

Cone penetration tests (CPT) are used in geotechnical engineering. The test involves pushing a cone-shaped probe into the seabed. As the cone penetrates the sediment, it records data on cone resistance, sleeve friction, and pore water pressure. This layer shows places (polygons) where data can be downloaded directly from this website. The data package that is downloaded will typically contain data from many CPT sites and may also include other types of data besides CPT data. The file format will typically be AGS, but other formats may also be available.
