Assessment of unconventional hydrocarbon resources based on 3D petroleum system modelling

The potential of shales as unconventional hydrocarbon resources has been accessed using 3D petroleum system modelling. The dataset shows the extent of the shales in the study area, that covers parts of the Danish, German and Dutch sector in the North Sea. The amounts of free, adsorbed and total GIIP and OIIP has been calculated for each shale. Further information is found in the report,GARAH WP2: 3D Pilot Study – Unconventionals, https://repository.europe-geology.eu/egdidocs/garah/garah_deliverable_report_d24_3d_petroleum_model_un.pdf
