Data Source: The dataset is based on the content of the GeoSphere Austria ESRI ArcGIS Online application 'Multithematic Geological Map of Austria 1:1,000,000' (GBA, 2017). In 2020, an independent INSPIRE derivative was created from this source, involving the transformation of the data into a harmonized data model and optimization for interoperable use.
