The Map of Groundwater Utilization Classified as Mineral Resources in Poland was developed by the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute. The first edition was published in 2015 and included information on medicinal, thermal, and brine waters as of the end of the previous year.Due to the dynamic increase in the number of documented deposits and resources, as well as significant interest from users, the map is updated annually and is available in digital format. Each edition of the map pr...
Spatial distribution of occurrences of Lithium in Europe and respective genetic types.
This document provides an overview of geothermal energy research, development, and utilization in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the period 2010–2014. It presents the distribution of hydrogeothermal regions, geothermal reservoirs, principal aquifers, the energy potential of geothermal resources, and their level of utilization. The document also includes information on the direct use of geothermal energy in spas, building heating, and ground-source heat pump systems, as well as an overview of the most signif...
This database contains information on natural outflowing thermal springs across Europe. Outflowing temperature is at least 5ºC higher that the annual mean air temperature of the site.
Spatial distribution of mineralisations of niobium in Europe and respective genetic types.
Radon Risk Map of the Bedrock at 1 : 500,000 scale. This map shows the prevailing radon index of different types of bedrock: 1. Low (Mesozoic and Tertiary sediments), 2. Intermediate (Quaternary sediments), 3. Medium ( Metamorphic rocks and Palaeozoic sediments), 4. High (Magmatic rocks, except for the Pre-Variscan granitoids – medium index), 5. Tectonic features, 6. Boundaries of regions
Rocks and industrial minerals map of the South Portuguese Zone in which on the harmonized geological base, with unified criteria between Spain and Portugal, the main non-metallic mineral occurrences and nonmetallic and industrial mineral mines in the area have been represented , indicating its status (active, abandoned or intermittent), size, use and substance. This cartography is a product resulting from the GEO_FPI project: GEO_FPI: cross-border observatory for the geo-economic evaluation of the Iberian ...
Spatial distribution of mineralisations of tantalum in Europe and respective genetic types.
The map shows the average annual temperatures on the surface of solid ground for the area of Slovenia. A raster layer of 30-year average (1981-2010) air temperatures measured 2 m above the ground was used as input data. The surface temperature of solids was calculated by adding 1 ° C to the values of air temperatures in the continental part of Slovenia and 1.2 ° C in the coastal part of Slovenia. The value for mainland Slovenia is calculated as the average of the differences between the trend lines of the ...
Na karti je ozemlje Slovenije razdeljeno na pet kategorij glede na pogostost uporabe geotermalnih toplotnih črpalk.
