El IGME realizó un gran esfuerzo en la recopilación de su información geofísica digital en una base digital espacial. Objetivo de esta base es la visualización, consulta y descarga de datos geofísicos correspondientes a las diferentes metodologías geofísicas. En él se almacena de forma georreferenciada la información geofísica existente en el IGME, incluyendo datos de campo, lo que permite su reutilización. Para ello se lleva a cabo una actividad de recuperación, homologación y homogeneización de la información. Este Sistema es la referencia geofísica de los proyectos en el IGME y de otros Organismos y empresas. The BADAGEOF Project covered the completion and implementation of the new SIGEOF System. This system stores geophysical information from IGME, including field data, in a georeferenced way, which allows its reuse. For this purpose, an activity of recovery, homologation and homogenization of the information is carried out. A finales de 2015 y principio de 2016, se ha desarrollado un nuevo Sistema de Información Geofísica, que mantiene el nombre de SIGEOF.
