The dataset has been compiled using collected, analysed and structured information on a variety of geological scales (data from boreholes, cross-sections, geological and structural-tectonic maps, geophysical surveys, etc.) and stored in a GIS-based environment using ESRI ArcGIS software. The database has been developed and updated by S.B. Shekhunova, N.P. Siumar, S.M. Stadnichenko and M.V. Aleksieienkova since 1986 to present.
