The Monograph "Mineral Resources of the Republic of Srpska" covers and presents all the mineral resources - ore deposits and significant occurrences - known to date in the territory of the Republic of Srpska. For each mineral resource, the geographical location, level of exploration, chronological and stratigraphic superposition, and reserves at thoroughly explored deposits are presented. General opinion is that this Monograph will achieve the aim of collecting all data about mineral resources in the territory of the Republic of Srpska in one document and make them available to expert and wider public. Ова Mонографија написана је с намјером да прикаже, у првом реду, минералне ресурсе Републике Српске, како оне доказане тако и оне потенцијалне, које је потребно додатно истражити и утврдити њихов значај. Монографијом „Минералне сировине Реублике Српске“ обухваћене су и приказане све до садa познате минералне сировине - рудна лежишта и важније појаве на територији Републике Српске. За сваку минералну сировину приказан је географски положај, степен истражености, хронолошка, стратиграфска суперпозиција и резерве код детаљно истражених лежишта. Сматра се да ће ова монографија остварити свој циљ, да подаци о минералним сировинама Републике Српске буду сабрани на једном мјесту, како би били доступни како стручној тако и широј јавности. These data include the knowledge about first mining activities during the first Century, then the Middle Age when metallic mineral resources had been mostly used by Germanic tribe Sassy, till the first systematic and programmed geological researches during the two following periods: from 1875 to 1915 and after 1945 till the date. All elaborates about mineral resources performed in the Republic of Srpska from 1992 to 2010 are included here as well. The content of this book is also made partly from edited available geological documentation, like numerous monographs, programs, elaborates, projects, geological maps of various ratio, reports, expertise etc. За израду Mонографије коришћени су подаци геолошких истраживања и рударских радова, од сазнања да је рударска дјелатност била активна још у првом вијеку нове ере, затим у средњем вијеку када је експлоатација, углавном металичних минералних сировина вршена од стране германског племена Саси, до првих систематских и програмираних геолошких истраживања која су се одвијала у два наврата од 1875. до 1915. године, и након 1945. године. Сви елаборати о минералним сировинама рађени у Републици Српској од 1992-2010. године такође су уклопљени у овај рад. Садржај ове књиге чини и дијелом прерађена геолошка документација, а то су многобројне монографије, програми, елаборати, пројекти, геолошке карте разних размјера, извјештаји, експертизе и др.
