Clicking a borehole will lead to a figure showing the LTA recharge calculated using one or more than one tool. Models are driven by rainfall and potential evaporation and calibrated using either time series of groundwater levels or flow discharges at a gauging station or both depending on the tool. Please refer to tool used to identify if the recharge calculated is actual or potential recharge. The aim of applying multiple tools is to address the uncertainty in the calculated recharge. Values are best used for guidance only.
