Kot vhodni podatek je bil uporabljen rastrski sloj 30 letnega povprečja (1981-2010) temperatur zraka merjenih 2 m nad tlemi. Temperatura površine trdnih dal je izračunana tako, da je v celinskem delu Slovenije vrednostim temperatur zraka prišteta 1°C, v primorskem delu Slovenije pa 1,2°C. Vrednost za celinsko Slovenijo je izračunana kot poprečje razlik trendnih črt poprečne temperature zraka (2 m) ter poprečne temperature tal (-2 cm) med nadmorskima višinama 0 m (1,3°C) in 2864 m (0,7°C). Za primorsko Slovenijo tak izračun ni bil možen zaradi premajhnega števila podatkov in je le ocenjen. The map shows the average annual temperatures on the surface of solid ground for the area of Slovenia. A raster layer of 30-year average (1981-2010) air temperatures measured 2 m above the ground was used as input data. The surface temperature of solids was calculated by adding 1 ° C to the values of air temperatures in the continental part of Slovenia and 1.2 ° C in the coastal part of Slovenia. The value for mainland Slovenia is calculated as the average of the differences between the trend lines of the average air temperature (2 m) and the average soil temperature (-2 cm) between altitudes of 0 m (1.3 ° C) and 2864 m (0.7 ° C). For coastal Slovenia this value is only estimated due to insufficient number of data. Namen karte je prostorski prikaz vrednosti povprečne letne temperature na površini trdnih tal za območje Slovenije na podlagi katerih lahko izračunamo potencial za izkoriščanje plitvih geotermalnih virov. The purpose of the map is a spatial presentation of temperature distribution on the surface of solid ground. Surface temperature represents one of the key parameters for calculation of exploitation potential for shallow geothermal sources.
